Triathlon de Lausanne

Back from a long yet quick 3 weeks vacation time... ready to work be back to Swiss-life.

Whenever mister J will decide to publish our pictures of the Xtreme Ride I will post a link. In the meanwhile... just throwing it out there.. this Sunday I will have my first Olympic Triathlon experience: Lausanne Triathlon 2009.

I will meet the Tri-Lutry team this evening for a quick spin and get as many suggestion as I can... I do not wanna forget anything the race day.

Xtreme Bike tour s01e05 ( almost ready)

Hello hello,

3 days from the departure. I heard someone in California is betting money on this challenge (hope they are kidding) and I know quite a few people interest on my health status (my parents, my relatives... few friends... but especially my boss).

I will try to update the Twitter thingy: Virgoproz On Twitter.

Not sure the IPhone will be practical enough to update a full rich app like the Google Blog.

Hello small world...

all the details for the XTreme ride have been decided and approved by the team ( J and I :-) ).

Here it comes the itinerary... who knows I might meet someone on the road..

1st Day - Lausanne to Sion (97Km)
2nd Day - Sion to Domodossola (115Km)
3rd Day - Domodossola to Como (137Km)
4th Day - Como to Salsomaggiore (168Km)
5th Day - Salsomaggiore to Lerici (143Km)
6th Day - Lerici to Piombino (157Km)
7th Day - Piombino to Ansedonia (137Km)
8th Day - Ansedonia to Torvaianica (157Km)
9th Day - Torvaianica to Velletri (42Km)

Uh Yeah...

Xtreme Bike tour s01e03

Real test for J and I. Lac Leman cyclo tour, 180Km... same traveling condition planned for the real tour.



Results:
6h 22mins, 179Km... 1 break every hour... for a total of 10hours.
Jonnhy is dead on the couch while I am cooking something before the start of another busy week!

Xtreme Bike tour s01e01

Hello there,

J and I are finalizing all the details for the Road Bike Tour we will start at the end of July.
For the curious ones this is what is going to be,

9 days starting from July 31th to August 9th.
We will make it hopefully before Saturday afternoon... to be able to rest a little and enjoy a party night somewhere in Velletri/Rome.

Next post will contain the list of what I will take with me (14liters of backpack...ain't much!)

Switzerland and the Sun

So many days since my last post. For the very few ones reading this (if any) I am planning to start writing again. I might end up using this as my training log .... but at the end of the day a bLog what else could be.

So many things are changed, so many thing I should write about... who knows maybe the Sun in Switzerland has finally arrived and I am full of good thoughts.
